On Wednesday, September 23, 2026, the 22nd STEM Skills Fest was held in the Atrium of the County Palace in Varaždin, featuring short workshops through which participants learned:
- what we can measure in water
- how acid rain affects soil and
- what the desirable soil quality is for proper plant growth.
STEM Fest activities took place from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., and approximately a hundred preschool-aged children attended.
The 22nd STEM Fest was held as one of the activities marking International Drava River Day, organised by Varaždin County and University North. The STEM Skills Fest takes place as part of the STEP for STEM project.
