On Monday, August 24, 2026, the 19th STEM Skills Fest was held in the park behind Varaždin Cathedral, featuring short workshops where participants learned how energy from the sun, wind, and other natural sources is converted into electricity.
STEM Fest activities took place from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and approximately two hundred preschool and primary school-aged children attended.
The 19th STEM Fest was held as one of the activities of Špancirfest in Varaždin, in the Creative Park area on Habdelićeva Street. The STEM Skills Fest takes place as one of the activities of the STEP for STEM project.
