On Thursday, February 19, 2026, in the parking lot of the elementary school in Donja Voća, the 12th STEM Skills Fest was held, with a series of short workshops through which participants could learn about STEM skills, such as:
- How does a telescope work, and what does it look like from the inside
- How to photograph stars and planets
- What do Lego robots know, and how are they programmed
- How to make a model using a 3D pen
- How to scan yourself and print yourself on a 3D printer.
STEM fest activities took place from 12:00 to 14:00 and were attended by approximately 100 primary school-aged children.
The host of the 12th STEM Skills Fest was the Andrija Kačić Miošić Elementary School from Donja Voća, which is also a partner in the project. Before the start of the STEM Fest, a short presentation of the project and project activities was held at the school for students and teachers. STEM Skills Fest is held as one of the activities of the STEP for STEM project.
