Today, the project’s kick-off conference was held at the STEM Centre for Children and Youth, where the attendees were addressed by the President of HDIG and Project Manager, Nenad Petrović, and the Vice President of HDIG and Manager of the STEM Centre, dr. sc. Jelena Loborec. Immediately after the conference, the first project activity to popularise STEM for the public—the 1st STEM Skills Fest—was held in John Paul II Park, where visitors could create models using a 3D pen, visually program robots, observe the Sun through a telescope, and learn about numerous other interesting things. More than 200 children and young people, from preschoolers to high school students, participated in STEM Fest workshops.
