On Thursday, June 5, 2025, the 1st STEM Skills Fest will be held in John Paul II Park, with a series of short workshops through which participants will be able to learn about STEM skills, such as:
– How to create a 3D model using a 3D pen
– How to photograph the Sun with your mobile phone through our telescope
– How to charge your phone using the Sun
– How to visually program a robot
– How to code a robot to avoid obstacles on a track
– How to make a robot to draw something for us
– How do we know what’s in our water
STEM Fest activities will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., and everyone interested is invited—preschoolers, schoolchildren, young people, and everyone else. No registration is required, and materials and equipment are provided.
This STEM Fest is also an activity as part of the celebration of World Environment Day, organised by the faculties of the University of Zagreb.
