On Friday, September 18, 2026, the 21st STEM Skills Fest was held in the Novska city park, featuring short workshops where participants learned:
- how to determine soil quality
- how to measure the amount of nutrients in the soil and
- how acid rain affects soil quality.
STEM fest activities took place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., and approximately a hundred school-aged children attended.
The 21st STEM Fest was held as one of the activities of the NOVsky Art & Science Festival, organised by the Novska Youth Association. The STEM Skills Fest takes place as one of the activities of the STEP for STEM project.
