On Monday, May 25, 2026, in the park near the 4th elementary school in Varaždin, the 14th STEM Skills Fest was held, with a series of short workshops through which participants learned:
- how to fit a rainbow into a test tube
- how to teach mini robots to dance
- what the Sun looks like through a telescope lens
- how electricity is generated from renewable sources
- what can we create using a 3D pen
- what is or is not in the air around us, and
- what do we need to fly a drone?
STEM Fest activities took place from 16:00 to 18:00 and were attended by approximately four hundred primary school-aged children.
The host of the 14th STEM Skills Fest was the 4th Primary School in Varaždin, which is also a partner in the project, and the STEM Fest was held as one of the activities marking the School Day. The STEM Skills Fest is held as one of the activities of the STEP for STEM project.
