On Friday, October 24, 2025, the 8th STEM Skills Fest was held in the park near the elementary school in Maruševac, with a series of short workshops through which participants could learn about STEM skills, such as:
- What the Sun looks like through the eyepiece of a telescope
- How to take photographs of the space through a telescope
- What are alternative energy sources
- How the sun and wind produce energy, and
- How to teach a robot to do something for us.
STEM fest activities took place from 12:00 to 14:00 and were attended by approximately 100 primary school-aged children.
The host of the 8th STEM Fest was the Elementary School “Gustav Krklec” in Maruševec, which is also a partner in the project. The event was organised as one of the activities of the STEP for STEM project.
