Project goal:<\/strong><\/p>\n Encourage the popularization of STEM among children and young people through capacity building activities of CSGE and at least 4 other NGOs, and through the establishment and implementation of STEM Center activities in the Geotechnical Faculty.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n Project purpose:<\/strong><\/p>\n The purpose of this project is strengthening the capacity of the Croatian Society of Geotechnical Engineers (CSGE) and other NGOs for the active involvement of children and young people and the general population in the popularization of STEM through the implementation of targeted STEM programs, improving cooperation with the Faculty of Geotechnical Engineering of the University of Zagreb.<\/p>\n This project will increase the natural science and engineering skills of children, young people and other citizens who will be involved in activities and programs intended to increase the popularity of STEM.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n Project results:<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n The project was financed from the State Budget of the Republic of Croatia (15%) and<\/p>\n from the European Social Fund (85%).<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Project duration: <\/strong>June 29 2021 –\u00a0 June 29 2023<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Project beneficiary:<\/strong><\/p>\n Croatian Society of Geotechnical Engineering (CSGE)<\/a><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Project partner:<\/strong><\/p>\n Geotechnical Faculty, University of Zagreb<\/a><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Telephone: <\/strong>+385 42 562 085<\/p>\n E-mail: <\/strong>projekti@uig.hr<\/p>\n <\/p>\n More details on project website<\/a> and STEM center website<\/a>.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n\n
